New FFXIII game | Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

It sounds like they are putting effort into making each 13 game unique, this sounds good to me. If they show off Versus at TGS im going to be really excited.

Another trashy FF experience hardly anybody will care about. I expect this game to sell even lower than FFXIII-2. At this point I hope they keep running the FF franchise into the ground like this. As a long term FF fan this franchise is practically dead to me now anyway, may as well kill it some more.

They will only make an FF7 remake if they make another FF that exceeds it? Lolol not likely to happen.

Honestly, the description of this game sounds like Square-Enix is throwing a whole bunch of sh!t at the wall hoping something will stick.

I dont like knowing i have a time limit, i want to explore the game freely :(

Breaking news: you can also abuse hookers in this game with Square Enix's new slap-a-ho system.

While i'm not a huge fan of this whole fabula crysallis nova universe the 13 games are ok.

But I agree lighting was an awful character to do this with and I feel as if this is a way square can say

"Well we released 3 FF games this gen" FF13-2 was a bit of a step up from what garbage 13 was.

Hopefully it's makes the mark of the zeldaish thing trhey seem like they wanna make.

I feel like since this was squeenixs second core final fantasy game they're trying to hit a stride with it.

FF lost much of its wight... I do remember when a new FF was announced back in the good days, the world was exploding in excitment ... I dun see this anymore .... I didn't get XIII-2 and probebly won't get this either.

Once upon a time Final Fantasy was the pinnacle of gaming, each new entry was god tier quality, refreshing and unique. FFX was the last truly exceptional FF and that was over 10 years ago. Since then we've had online games, sequels, spinoffs, remakes and handheld games. XIII was easily the weakest main entry in the series so bad infact that XIII-2 is the first ff game in the series I not only didnt buy on day one buy refuse too buy even at the bargain bin price on £6.95 which it now sells for. I shall not be buying lightning returns and instead look to XV since it looks like vsXIII is vapourware. Seriously square enix sought your **** selves out.

What is with this obsession in milking the XIII franchise more and more. And especially lightning? she's a terribly dull character. the world of XIII isn't even all that interesting. A guy claimed that SE said that, SE didnt say anything about it other than its still in development. We will just have to wait and see.

I hope this one is really the last XIII game.

im iffy on this. mainly cause I dislike games that give me a time limit to play them. I never feel like im truly enjoying it since im always worried about time.

Challenge doesn't have to be a time limit like this. I hate these type of things. I like to create my own pace, not having to go through the whole game with a time limit.

People didn't like VI, XII, IX, VII, X, etc. XIII was more divisive, but it was still a commercial/critical success.

Challenge doesn't have to be a time limit like this. I hate these type of things. I like to create my own pace, not having to go through the whole game with a time limit.
